This is a really good list to get some ideas flowing on what to look for. Unfortunately, most of the suggested companies on this list do not hire or cover my city. Are there alternative companies to things like TaskRabbit and StitchFix that aren’t only just in major cities? Uber and Lyft would be cool but I don’t see how you can work from home while doing that. Plus, I wouldn’t want strangers sitting next to and touching my baby in her car seat. And which tutoring sites don’t require a 4-year teaching degree? I see that most of them do.

To be clear, I recognize that a great many working dads are doing a terrific job both on the home front and in their professional lives. My concern is that these standouts often aren’t visible to their colleagues; they intentionally or inadvertently let their work as parents fly under the radar. Using this method of acquiring data and developing new products can foster the organizations relationship with their customer as well as spawn ideas that would otherwise be overlooked. UGC is low-cost advertising as it is directly from the consumers and can save advertising costs for the organisation.

Since mobile app design is so important to modern web design, website developers are beginning to make sticky menu items scroll from the bottom of the site, as opposed to the top of the site’s pages. Progressive web apps are somewhat responsible from this design evolution, as developers start to design for modern functionality.

A growing industry is becoming an “evaluator.” In this role, you may be evaluating search engine results or ads for relevancy and quality. The same companies that hire for search engine evaluators also hire social media evaluators and map analysts. These jobs are usually project-based and have a maximum number of hours you can work each week. Usually, no set schedule is required. Some of the projects can even be done with just your smartphone.
